Brisbane Open House celebrates Brisbane’s history and architecture with exclusive events, tours, and a jam-packed program consisting of buildings, spaces, structures and places open to the public.

The much-loved, annual, free event features a curated selection of heritage and contemporary buildings, including some of Brisbane's most iconic buildings, popular previous venues, best-kept secrets, and our city's newest projects.

The 2024 program is geo-focused, predominantly featuring inner-Brisbane, to provide audiences with easy access to as many Open House buildings and activities as possible.

This year's Brisbane Open House Village is New Farm. Supporting the New Farm & District Historical Society in celebrating their 30th year milestone, there will be a number of open buildings and homes throughout New Farm, as well as a variety of walks.

A new addition to the 2024 program is a full day Speaker Series, which will be held at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse on Sunday, July 14th.
