Camerata - Four Seasons Reimagined

RPAC

Camerata - Queensland's Chamber Orchestra have reimagined Vivaldi’s masterpiece The Four Seasons, intertwining it with groundbreaking works by some of the world’s foremost contemporary composers, at Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) on Wednesday, 17 July, 2024.

The Four Seasons has captivated audiences and music-makers the world over, and Camerata is no exception.

Camerata - Queensland Chamber Orchestra

This exquisite concert opens with Vivaldi’s magnificent The Four Seasons “Spring”; then Max Richter’s expressive arrangements from his acclaimed album Recomposed by Max Richter adds a contemporary flair, while Astor Piazzolla’s sultry tango rendition of “Spring” infuses the air with the vibrant energy of Buenos Aires, and Roxanna Panufnik’s haunting “Tibetan Winter” transports listeners to new musical height.

Joining Camerata for this exhilarating musical odyssey is esteemed Australian guitar, mandolin and banjo virtuoso Joel Woods for Mark O’Connor’s sprightly “Summer”.

Don’t miss this “most delectable concert by Camerata, rich and luscious with superb playing" (Sydney Arts Guide) that “bursts with musical colour" (Limelight), when Camerata makes a welcome return to the RPAC Concert Hall stage on July 17.
