Exciting New Foodie Destination

Westfield Carindale's dining precinct has been transformed into an exciting new foodie destination, now open on Level 1 near Event Cinemas.

The new look dining precinct integrates both grab-and-go and casual sit-down restaurant options in a uniquely designed space that will see seven new dining retailers including Claw BBQ, Betty’s Burgers, Sushi Jiro, Nando’s, Viet House and a relocated Yum Cha open soon, with the seventh to be announced before the end of the year.  

New kiosks Sandwich Studio and Banh Mi will also open soon in the precinct, alongside a refreshed Funhouse Entertainment offer. 

The precinct has been completely reimagined to provide a contemporary experience, featuring integrated casual dining seating areas, new flooring, and native plants throughout to enhance connection to the outdoors. 

Brisbane’s favourite Claw BBQ will bring its Southern charm with the opening of a second, highly anticipated location serving mouth-watering BBQ, crabshack and grill delicacies, while retro, beach-inspired burger shack, Betty’s Burgers will serve up the freshest, juiciest and most mouth-watering burgers around. 

Sought-after food operators Sushi Jiro, operators of one of the Southern hemisphere’s longest sushi trains, legendary flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken restaurant Nandos, and Viet House with their authentic fresh flavours, will bring a selection of diverse flavour choices to customers. 

Sandwich Studio and Banh Mi will serve up Italian-inspired sandwiches and crusty Vietnamese rolls from new kiosks, while Yum Cha will relocate to the new precinct bringing an array of Chinese flavours with their traditional dishes. 

The highly anticipated re-opening of Funhouse Entertainment rounds out the transformed precinct with a refreshed offer including kids bowling and will join Event Cinemas to provide customers with a variety of entertainment options throughout the day until late in the evening.
