Grimm - Tales from the Brothers Grimm

Cremorne Theatre, QPAC

GRIMM, the latest masterpiece from Shake & Stir Theatre Co, invites you into a realm where fairytales are brilliantly reinvented, coming to QPAC as part of Brisbane Festival from Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Brace yourself – this bold adaptation of bedtime stories from the Brothers Grimm might just haunt your dreams...

Within darkened corridors and atmospheric landscapes, Snow White, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood emerge from the shadows, the truth behind their tales - warts and all - boil and bubble to the surface.

One of the country's leading contemporary theatre companies, Shake & Stir is known for their award-winning stage spectacles including FrankensteinJane Eyre and A Christmas Carol. Their latest production GRIMM, adapted by Nelle Lee, directed by Daniel Evans, with costumes designed by Australian fashion icon Paul McCann, will make its world premiere at this year’s Brisbane Festival.

This is a bewitching theatre experience not to be missed, so tuck yourself in for a lavish, loud and lucid night.

Due to popular demand, the season has been extended but tickets are selling fast! Great seats are still available for performances in September.
