Shakespeare's most magnificent love story, Romeo and Juliet, will come to life on stage in this breathtaking ballet taking place over two incredible evenings - Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 2024 -at HOTA's Theatre 1.

Immerse yourself in the moonlit streets of Verona as artists from some of the world’s leading ballet companies guide you through Shakespeare’s captivating realm of love, rivalry and destiny.

International principal artist, Sebastián Vinet, will star as the pugnacious and charismatic Tybalt. Sebastián’s career spans principal roles at the likes of San Francisco Ballet and the Houston Ballet, to featuring regularly as principal guest artist at some of the world’s biggest ballet galas.

Sebastian will be joined by past and present artists from the Australian Ballet, Queensland Ballet, Ballet Basel and more, as well as guest artists who have performed alongside the world’s best performers in past galas.

With its iconic score, captivating sets, and exquisite costumes, Romeo and Juliet promises an enchanted evening filled with passion, tragedy and world-class ballet.
