LARUCHE BAR HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED AS OF FEBRUARY 2023.

A Valley bar that stands out for its opulence and off the wall decadence, Laruche boasts a Dali-esque drinking lounge with disproportionate chairs that could have been borrowed from the Mad Hatter’s tea party, a giant jellyfish chandelier (unsurprising as this bar was dreamed up by the folk who brought the barbie Doll head chandeliers to the Lychee Lounge), over stretched chaise longues and an eclectic soundtrack.

Upstairs on the mezzanine are more themed zones – an Asian den and a plush Belle époque style parlour that is often cordoned off for private parties.

But this is not a case of all show and no punch – the mixologists take their cocktail-making seriously and the tapas are amongst the best to be found in the Valley. Best to come early to have a chance of reclining on the fantastical furniture and enjoying table service tapas.
