Trove Bar & Restaurant

Brisbane CBD

TROVE BAR AND RESTAURANT IS NOW A DEDICATED FUNCTIONS SPACE.

Trove Bar and Restaurant is a stylish late-night eatery and bar in Brisbane's CBD, housed in a stunning historic building on the corner of George and Elizabeth Streets.

Located above Irish Murphy's, in one of the oldest hotel sites in the city (circa 1865), this sophisticated restaurant/bar features dark timber, exposed brick, bold wallpaper and luxe chartreuse velvet banquette seating.

Trove Bar Eatery Brisbane

The mouth-watering menu boasts Modern Australian fare with a Queensland twist using quality seasonal produce sourced locally, from Mt Tamborine to Cairns.

Start with wattle seed damper with black garlic butter, Hervey Bay scallops, cider braised pork belly, or pineapple Waldorf salad - glazed pineapple, julienne apple and celery, macerated grape, candied macadamia, and Pure Blue cheese.

Share plates range from slow-cooked duck with duck fat potatoes, gin and tonic cured ocean trout, and a shellfish pot with mussels, pipis and clams served with grilled flatbread.

Main dishes include ricotta gnocchi, grilled chicken and pancetta, lemon and herb spatchcock, herb-crusted lamb backstrap, Black Onyx eye fillet, and melt-in-your-mouth 13-hour braised beef cheek with rosemary and parmesan polenta, asparagus and port jus.

Trove Bar and Restaurant Brisbane

Trove also provides lunch between the hours of 12 and 3 pm, with a tantalizing array of dishes such as hoisin duck wraps, Tuscan grilled chicken paninis, grilled haloumi and portobello mushroom burgers, and rib eye steaks served with herb stuffed portobello mushroom, beer battered fries, shallot rings and red wine jus.

Trove Bar and Restaurant Brisbane

Trove is fully-licensed with a predominantly Australian wine list, craft beer on tap, bottled beer, and boutique spirits including 60 gins. In addition, there's an extensive cocktail list including the bar's signature Pineapple Tiger Kiss (1800 Anjeo tequila, cointreau, and pineapple juice) and ManTeaBa Sunrise - Breakfast Tea gin and mango with cinnamon and banana liqueur.

Nice to know - Trove has two stunning private dining rooms which are available for special events and celebrations.
