The Long Room

The traditional name for custom services, The Long Room is an impressive event space situated on the Queen Street Level, adorned with grand columns beneath a magnificent copper dome, with access to a private balcony that overlooks the Brisbane River. Capacity for 120-300 guests.

The River Room

Once the Queen’s Warehouse and previously used as a bond store, this refurbished event space is situated on the River Level, with direct access to the terrace overlooking the Brisbane River. Combining state of the art technology with contemporary styling, and with operable walls for flexibility, this versatile room can accommodate groups of various sizes, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of functions and events. Capacity for 120-200 guests.

The River Terrace

One of Brisbane’s premier outdoor function venues for cocktail parties, The River Terrace can be easily configured to accommodate a variety of private functions and events. Guests will be wowed by the captivating backdrop of Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge and the scenic Kangaroo Point cliffs, making it an ideal setting for pre-dinner drinks in conjunction with a Long Room dinner function or as a standalone option when booking the River Room.

The Reid Room

This private old world dining room, located on the Mezzanine level and adjoining the Charitable Trusts room and Balcony, is ideal for a range of intimate dining experiences. Featuring an elegant silky oak drop-leaf table and selected works from the UQ Art Museum, it also has the only remaining brass light fitting from the time when electric light was installed last century. Capacity for 8-10 guests.

Sylvia Jones Boardroom

The exquisite formal boardroom is located on the Mezzanine Level, and is appropriate for a range of private events.  Adorned with crystal chandeliers, marble fireplaces, and an exquisite 1880's heritage cedar table, the elegant showpiece is enhanced by the finest crystal, silverware, and napery that exude sophistication. Capacity for 22-24 guests.

The Charitable Trusts Room

This cosy ambient lounge setting, located on the Mezzanine Level and adjoining the Reid Room Dining Room and Balcony, is suitable for pre-dinner drinks or cocktail functions. Featuring an exquisite crystal chandelier and paintings from the University Art Museum, the balcony leading from this room still features the original iron lacework cast in England at the end of the last century. Capacity for 30 guests.
