3 Eight Nine

Scarborough

3 eight nine is a funky chic little cafe on the beach front shopping village of Scarborough that makes a great drop in whether for a coffee, glass of wine or gourmet all day breakfast.

Inside the walls are adorned with the works of artist Simon de Groot, the coffee is di Bella and lunch comes with a $4 glass of wine.

On the breakfast menu are waffles, breakfast burger on Turkish and banana bread while for lunch the choices waver between open grills, salads and burgers or for something more substantial USA pork ribs, Angus beef or fish of the day. From the sweets counter lemon tarts, raspberry and vanilla slices and lemon tarts are amongst the delicious offerings along with a smattering of gluten-free.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
