Our Haus Cafe

Hawthorne

OUR HAUS AT HAWTHORNE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Tucked away in one of the quaint huddles of shops on Riding Rd is this little star performer where attention to detail is king with a twist of fun thrown in.

Sit inside at the plush fuchsia bench or outside in the curtained marquee and enjoy just about everything this little cafe has to offer. The heavenly breakfasts include hash cakes or haus-made baked beans on Leavain bread, lunches of giant bowls of minestrone or salt and pepper calamari and sweets such as the premises baked frangipani marscapone flan or melt-in-the-mouth mud cupcakes.

The drinks menu is longer than the food and features old-fashioned faves such as the 1920’s creaming soda based Spider Bubbles, to-die-for chai lattes and juices and frappes.

This also happens to be one of Brisbane’s most dog welcoming venues with Puppycinos and shaved liver treats for four-legged dining companions.
