Lumber Punks Axe-throwing

West End

Lumber Punks at West End is Brisbane’s first axe-throwing venue – the perfect way to let off steam and try your hand at the fine old lumberjack sport of axe-throwing.

Similar to dart-throwing, except with an axe, participants get to try their hand at hurling an axe at a wall target, with the aim of hitting the bullseye in the middle.

Lumber Punks

Ideal for a date night, a get together of friends and family or a large work function/corporate event, Lumber Punks have packages available to accommodate groups of up to 76 at a time.

Lumber Punks

With only one thrower per lane at a time and in separated and dedicated throwing lanes, each thrower has a safe space from wayward axes finding their way into their lanes.

Lumber Punks

Every session sees participants taken through a brief Safety Induction before being shown the techniques of the SOG Tactical Tomahawks….and then the Estwing 16” Camp Axe.

Lumber Punks

Once the group is ready, they are then taken through how to play competitive games against each other, in exactly the same way that Lumber Punks run their League Nights.

Nice to know - Lumber Punks Brisbane is also home to The Armoury Vintage clothing store owned by Jessica Layne, stocking reclaimed Vintage and locally sourced clothing and The Vault, containing some treasured Arcade and Pinball machines.

Need to know - Participants need to be 18 years +, wear enclosed toed shoes and have refrained from drinking alcohol prior to arrival.
