Iron Pan Japanese Kitchen

Grange

IRON PAN JAPANESE KITCHEN AT GRANGE HAS CLOSED.

Iron Pan Japanese Kitchen is the Grange hotspot for teppanyaki (iron pan) dishes, karaage burgers and authentic katsu curries.

The undercover verandah is the perfect spot to enjoy a Japanese beer (Asahi, Sapporo, Kirin, Yabisu) or sake while sampling tapas such as gyoza (dumplings), edamame (soy beans), okonomiyaki (savory pancake) or onigiri (rice balls).

The iron pan selection here include Aussie wagyu, buta-yaki (pork), seafood yakisoba, mapo tofu, Tasmanian salmon, mozzarella chicken galbi and teri-tama hamburg steak. Meanwhile the fried chicken, fresh salads, and karaage burgers with beer battered chips are some other popular choices.

Aside from the fully licensed bar, Iron Pan Japanese Kitchen also serves coffee, loose leaf teas, juices and smoothies. For dessert, there are unusual ice cream flavors such as black sesame, green tea, or vanilla bean, as well as baked caramel custard, matcha roll cakes and tiramisu.

Families with children are also welcome at Iron Pan Japanese Kitchen, with a special kids menu featuring wagyu steak with chips, chicken nuggets and kids fried rice. There is a colorful play area on the verandah which is suitable for small children.

In a nutshell: Fun Japanese-inspired dine in or take away teppanyaki meals and drinks served from a cosy northside verandah.

Nice to know: Under cover parking is available beneath Iron Pan Japanese Kitchen.
