Bradbury Park

Kedron

Bradbury Park in Kedron is a fantastic neighbourhood park that has been recently upgraded to include a unique playscape unlike any other in Brisbane.

Bradbury Park

The 'biological city' is comprised of a complex series of 'hollows' (tower-like structures) and 'byways' (bridges that connect the towers) and includes a series of inclusive and accessible ground-based exploratory elements as well.

The towering playscape provides multiple play options and experiences, especially for older children aged 10-15 years old, but younger children will enjoy the range of discover elements such as hidden butterflies, texture panels, light/shadow play, switches, and a mirror.

The popular northside playground also boasts Brisbane's first dedicated scooter track and an award-winning nature play space.

Nestled in a beautiful bush setting, near the netball courts on the southern end of Bradbury Park, the Magic Forest nature play space is perfect for letting little imaginations soar, with stepping stones, boulders, tree stumps and logs, a dry creek bed and hidden sculptures to encourage curiosity and inspire play.

At the northern end of the park (near the off-leash dog area), kids can ride until their heart's content at the looped scooter track. The 200 metre long track includes a range of obstacles and fun features for children to navigate, including dips, jumps, bumps, moguls and more.

Bradbury Park is a popular park and is well used by the community for netball, lawn bowls, cricket practice, Girl Guides activities, and exercise with fitness equipment provided plus a basketball half-court. The park also has picnic shelters, electric barbecues, brand new amenities block, and a park for pooches.
